CCM strives to provide education to its clients, families, and caregivers. Education is provided based on the services provided, the client’s identified needs and abilities, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Education may include the plan of care, basic health practices and safety, safe and effective use of medical equipment and/or supplies, basic home safety, infection control and prevention, and how to notify the company of problems, concerns, and complaints.
When equipment is sent educational materials are normally provided by the manufacturer and included in the boxes in which they ship the equipment. Such material may include the Warranty, Assembly Instructions if any, Operating Instructions, etc. In addition, the following materials are available for downloading, faxing, mailing, or emailing to assist the client in safe use of their equipment.
