Profile ng Academy:

Ang Champions Christian Academy ay isang Pre-K4 hanggang ika-12 na baitang na nakasentro sa akademikong si Cristo. Humihingi kami ng pagtanggap mula sa mga mag-aaral ng anumang relihiyoso o kultura na background. Kami ay isang outreach ministeryo ng non-profit na Christ Centered Homes, Inc. sa Atlanta, Texas.

Pag-focus sa Academy:

Ang aming pokus ay para sa lahat ng mga mag-aaral na makatanggap ng isang kalidad na pang-akademikong edukasyon na naka-encode sa isang masusing kaalaman sa aming pamana sa Bibliya. Ang layunin ng pangangasiwa, guro at kawani ng paaralan ay gabayan ang bawat mag-aaral sa isang kamalayan ng kanyang indibidwal na halaga at pagpapahalaga sa halaga at pagkatao ng iba. Naniniwala ang CCA na ang bawat mag-aaral ay karapat-dapat na magkaroon ng pagkakataon na umunlad sa kanyang lubos na potensyal sa lahat ng mga lugar ng pag-aaral at sa isang rate na naaangkop sa indibidwal na kakayahan. Tinatanggap ng paaralan ang mga mag-aaral ng iba't ibang lahi, etniko at pang-ekonomiya. Ang diin na ito ay makikita sa kurikulum at sa aming mga patakaran sa pagpasok. Malinaw na itinuturo ng banal na kasulatan na ang mga magulang ay may pananagutan sa edukasyon at disiplina ng kanilang mga anak. Ito ay ang paniniwala sa CCA na ang paaralan ay hindi kapalit, ngunit isang pagpapalawak ng tahanan ng mga Kristiyano. Itinuturo ng aming guro ang mga mag-aaral na tanggapin ang pananagutan para sa kanilang mga aksyon at saloobin, kapwa sa campus at sa komunidad. Kasama sa pagsasanay ang pagtulong sa mga mag-aaral na maging matapat na mamamayan ng ating bansa at pahalagahan ang parehong mga karapatan at kanilang responsibilidad bilang mga aktibong kalahok sa masalimuot na lipunang ito. Ang mga hangarin na ito ay nakaugat sa paniniwala na ang bawat tao ay ginawa sa imahe ng Diyos at samakatuwid, karapat-dapat sa dignidad at paggalang.

Mga Tauhan ng Academy:

Ang mga kawani ng CCA ay binubuo ng mga sertipikadong at / o mga indibidwal na edukado sa kolehiyo na sumagot sa panawag ng Diyos na maging mga guro sa isang Kristiyanong kapaligiran.

Academy Administrator:

The academy Administrator is Dr. Beth Hill. Beth has a Texas Teachers Certification in Elementary Education with a Mathematics specialization, as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She also has a Doctorate in Philosophy with an emphasis in Christian education. She and her family are members of Champions Bible Church in Atlanta Texas.  Beth and her husband own HomeSupply.net., a medical supply business. Beth has 3 children who were educated using the A.C.E. Curriculum and classroom format. Her two sons have graduated and are fine upstanding citizens and Godly men. Both are servants of God and to their communities. God is good. Her 17 year old daughter is currently enrolled in CCA and Beth expects God will use Christian Education once again to help supplement the teachings in her home so that her daughter too will grow into a Godly woman.

Superbisor ng Learning Center:

Nicole Owens serves as the Learning Center Supervisor. She and her husband have been married for 25 years and they have two children who are also students at CCA.  She and her family attend Church on the Rock in Texarkana. She has completed her Bachelors of Arts in Christian Education from All Nations Bible Seminary. She has taught in three different Christian schools and has also home schooled her own children for 7 years.  Her two children attend CCA and are very active in school activities. We are blessed to have Nicole as our Learning Center Supervisor.

Learning to Read Supervisor:

Mary Larson graduated from a Christian school that used the ACE curriculum, PreK-12th grade. Mary has an Early Childhood Education certificate from Front Range community college in Ft. Collins Colorado. She and her husband have been married 21 years and have 4 children. For church they attend Hillsong Phoenix online with their daughter who’s a graduate of Hillsong college and serves in the production department at the church. Her oldest son graduated as a homeschool student and is working full time as a mechanics assistant until he attends mechanic school in the fall. Her middle son attends Atlanta ISD with an interest in Band, Debate, and Tennis and has a part time job at Whataburger. Her youngest son. who attended CCA, is out of school now and has an interest in video production. Mary has worked for CCA as the Monitor in the Learning Center. She is currently a school bus driver for Atlanta ISD. She’s always had a desire to work with small children and show them the love Jesus has for them. We are blessed to have Mary as our Learning to Read Supervisor.

Learning Center Monitor:

KC Hamblin was raised in the Linden-Kildare area. She was brought  up in a Christ centered home.  She was blessed to be homeschooled from the 5th grade to the 12th grade. She went on to college and shortly after had the opportunity to travel. She spent 10 years living in Europe and in multiple states here in the US. She gained life lessons and experience all along the way, while focusing on loving the Lord with all her heart and being an example of the Golden Rule. Her son has attended CCA for the past 4 years as she knows the importance of a Christian education.  Being firmly rooted in Biblical principles she has great respect, honor and gratitude for her position at CCA. We are blessed to have KC as our Learning Center Monitor.

Athletic Director/Coach:

Mark Hill is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary in Jacksonville Texas. He also has a Master of Science majoring in Psychology and Counseling from East Texas State University in Commerce Texas. He received a doctorate in Biblical Studies from All Nations Bible Seminary in Atlanta Texas. He is a Licensed and Ordained pastor and has served the local church as a Pastor, Elder, Executive Pastor, Administrative Pastor, Missions Pastor, Youth Director, and Sunday School teacher. He was a multi-sport player from Hooks Texas, receiving awards in Football and Baseball. He serves CCA as a Chaplain and is the Athletic Director and Coach. His passion is to teach children and equip them with life skills. He also films a children’s show called Kidzone Time.

Coach:

Chris Woods is a Licensed and Ordained pastor at Champions Bible Church in Atlanta, which is a sister church to CCA.  He grew up in Atlanta were CCA is located and was an active athlete in the local Atlanta school district. He received many football awards and went on to play college ball at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia Arkansas. He has an Associates of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from All Nations Bible Seminary and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling. He has been married to Lauren for six years and they have four children, of which two attend CCA. He serves the academy as a Chaplain and Coach for the Jr. and Sr. High students. His desire is to teach children to become responsible adults, who are capable of making wise decisions and become great leaders in their communities.
